For more years than I care to admit to, I have wanted an oriental rug in my home, but until now I have not felt "I should." I have admired how these beautiful rugs have created magic in the homes of my friends, but, truthfully, I was overwhelmed by the two great myths of oriental rug buying:
1. That they are absolutely unaffordable for anyone other than the very wealthy or very extravagant and 2. The shopping for one will entail unpleasant high pressure from the salesman and unsavory haggling for a realist price.
You, happily, have dispelled both of those myths for me, and my home now proudly displays two of the most gorgeous, magic-making rugs my dreams could ever have envisioned.
Now I don't mean to suggest that my friends' horror stories about their purchases elsewhere were fabricated. Rather, I wish to sing your praises as a man and company that live up to their printed brochures proclaiming excellent service and prices.
I felt comfortable in your store, I felt at ease talking with you and your two personable and highly professional sons: I felt joyous at your selection of rugs and the assistance I got in viewing them, I felt thankful for the lack of sales pressure and the way you made me (rather than my checkbook) feel so important in the choices, and I felt relieved when you worked up what is commonly, and too often mistakenly, called a "good price."
Then as an added feature, you had several of my personal favorites loaded into one of your trucks and brought them many miles to my home- that very day- so I could see the colors of the rugs in my room light and with my furniture and with no obligation still, to buy.
In all, I could not have asked for a single aspect of buying my oriental rugs to be nicer. Thank you for every detail of your caring service.
